Front of House Assistants

Pay: £11.01 per hour, plus accrued holiday pay (equivalent to roughly £1.33 per hour)
Hours and days: Flexible in line with artistic programme
Dress code: Uniform plus smart casual

Our team of Front of House Assistants work across the whole of Lakeside Arts – invigilating in our galleries and museum, ushering for performances in the Djanogly Theatre and Djanogly Recital Hall, and helping to manage and deliver other events and private hires throughout the year.

The Front of House Assistant role at Lakeside Arts is a part-time, casual position, with hours allocated on monthly rotas based on your declared availability. Shifts are available throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. The number of available shifts varies – across the year busier times tend to be from February-June and October-December, and especially over Christmas, Easter, and late May/early June.

*We usually recruit new Front of House Assistants in April and October, however, we would love to hear from applicants at any time. If we're not actively recruiting, we will keep your CV on file and will contact you with details of the next available recruitment opportunity.



MUSEUM VOLUNTEERS

The University of Nottingham Museum holds mainly regional collections of archaeology covering a 250,000 year period. Museum volunteer opportunities include collections care and development, education and public programme activities. There is also the opportunity to work with Meghan King (Finds Liaison Officer for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire): https://finds.org.uk
