Employee “Spotlight”

November Spotlight: Emily Barry

This individual has a great sense of humor, is a team player and is always willing to help out when needed.  This individual has learned a tremendous amount and has grown professionally over the past two years at LLF. This individual is authentic and true to herself. She passionate and enthusiastic about Lakeside Arts Park programs and events she oversees. She has a “Can Do” attitude – at times she has gotten discouraged but has persevered. Emily has found that sales is not an easy task but a crucial skill to have for her position. She takes constructive feedback from Executive Director, supervisor, managers and patrons as learning opportunities. Her peers respect her and feel she has a consistent positive attitude, cares and is truly concerned about them (i.e. especially during signature events). She has been an excellent ambassador for LLF thru the Barrington Chamber and other community events she has been part of. She is eager to learn and wants to become an expert in her field. Her confidence continues to flourish – over time it has been noticed within team meetings, client meetings, and thru her presentations and proposals.

She should be proud of her professional growth and successes with LLF culinary & dance programs. I look forward to seeing you truly “Fly like an Eagle” this next year. Emily is a “Gem” within a “Gem” here at Lakeside Arts Park at the Dole.
