JOIN JOSS ARNOTT'S DANCE:CONNECTS – PULSE! 2.0

Our friends at Joss Arnott Dance invited us to get connected through dance by joining in or watching together a choreographic response to PULSE!, originally inspired by Artistic Director Joss Arnott’s fascination with how as humans we create a series of connections that unite us. Suitable for all.

ISOLATION DIGITAL FLASHMOB EVENT

In 2020 we've missed one of the highlights of our year – Wheee! – our wonderful children's festival which provides just as much enjoyment for grown-ups as it is does for our little people. Last year, Joss Arnott Dance (JAD) made their first piece of outdoor theatre, Pulse, and we were able to feature their Rolls-Royce inspired giant percussive dance structure in the oval car park.

This year, to celebrate Joss Arnott Dance's 10th anniversary, and with an aim of connecting communities across the UK, JAD created a new PULSE! – DANCE: CONNECTS – PULSE! 2.0. Joss invited people across the nation to take part in a mass isolation flashmob event on Thursday 2 July with hundreds across the country going live using the hashtag #JADPULSE and recording themselves dancing to a choreographed routine. All those who took part had the chance to submit these videos to be included in a curated DANCE:CONNECTS – PULSE! 2.0 video to celebrate the nation's connection through dance. The opportunity was open to professional dancers and those with little to no experience in dancing. An invitiation to stay entertained during lockdown.

Now, the two dance films have been produced and details of when they will go live are below:

PROFESSIONAL FILM: THURSDAY 30TH JULY, 7.30PM

The film will go live on Facebook here.

COMMUNITY FILM: THURSDAY 6TH AUGUST, 7.30PM

The film will go live on Facebook here.
